Ann Kaplan-Mulholland isn’t the only one reuniting with family since joining Real Housewives of Toronto. Grego Minot will travel to Thailand this week to meet her biological mother. The French-Canadian actress shares her sentiments on being adopted by Canadians and taking the journey back to her birthplace.
“My quest to find her was motivated by my need to finally be able to thank her for the sacrifice she made,” says the Real Housewife of Toronto. Minot’s birth mother insisted that foreigners adopt her so she could have “a better life”, says grateful Grego.
This Friday, I will be travelling to Thailand with Pierre, our children and my adoptive parents in order to meet, for the first time, the woman who gave birth to me, put me up for adoption and insisted on having foreigners adopt me so I could have a better life. When I see her, I will tell her that my quest to find her was motivated by my need to finally be able to thank her for the sacrifice she made which I consider to be a pure act of love and for the life and opportunities I have now. I will also share with her that growing up, I always knew she was by my side when I looked up to the skies and counted my lucky stars.✨ The journey I'm about to embark on in a few days will forever change me. I do not have any expectations…I am only filled with peace, love and gratitude. 🙏🏾💗#mystory#adoptionjourney#reallife#myfamily#thailand🇹🇭#canada🇨🇦#blessed#adoption#joiedevivre#embracinglife#rhot#weallhaveastorytoshare#gratitude#gregominot
